orange ginger zinger juice

Just because juice is homemade does not make it healthy for everyone! The fibre in juice has been removed, making this a quick sugar hit, but also a nutrient dense food. This juice is for occasionally fun and not a meal replacement.
If you don't have a juicer but would like to try this recipe, you can also blend the ingredients very well and use some patience and muscle strength to strain the pulp out through a cheese cloth. Before I owned a juicer I use to use this method on occasion to enjoy homemade fresh juice.

Ingredients

  • 8 carrots
  • 2 oranges peel and seeds removed
  • 1 lemon peel and seeds removed
  • 1.5 inch ginger peeled

Instructions

  • cut all ingredients into pieces small enough to fit into you juicer
  • run through juicer and enjoy
