Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs extra lean ground beef or beef slices, we even enjoy using bison meat
- 3 carrots sliced
- 1 crown broccoli diced
- 1 sweet bell pepper sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce half if you have high blood pressure
- 2 tbsp arrow root powder or corn starch
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp sriracha
- 1/2 tsp ginger grated
- 1 clove garlic minced or grated
- 1 cup brown rice or cauliflower rice optional
Instructions
- start cooking rice according to package directions if including
- add the beef to a large sauce pan and sautee until cooked through, strain and rinse off oil if necessary and set aside
- add the carrot, broccoli and bell pepper to the pan and cook until soft, use a little water to sautee and avoid sticking to the pan
- in a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, starch, sesame oil, sriracha, ginger and garlic, when well combined add to the sauce pan
- add the beef back to the pan and stir together and cook down sauce to desired thickness and then serve over rice
