Ingredients
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 yellow onion chopped
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1-2 tsp curry powder (optional) or 1 tsp turmeric for colour
- 1 tsp salt omit if blood pressure is high
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 block extra firm tofu crumbled
Optional toppings: sesame seeds, tomato, cilantro, hot sauce, avocado
Instructions
- add the sesame oil, onion and garlic to a fry pan and cook until soft
- add the garlic powder, curry/turmeric powder, salt, pepper and tofu and cook until the tofu is slightly browned, approx. 10 minutes on medium heat
- plate and serve with optional toppings
