Ingredients
- 10 corn tortillas, small
- 500 grams lean ground beef we like to make this with extra lean ground bison if you can find it, or ground turkey as well!
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 sweet bell pepper diced
- 10 cherry tomatoes diced, or other tomatoes work well
- 1 avocado sliced
- 3 oz cheddar cheese grated
- 1 green onion diced
- 1/4 bunch cilantro or sub shredded lettuce
Optional hot sauce, we love Valentina Hot Sauce for tacos
Instructions
- add the ground beef and all of the spices to a large sauce pan and cook until the beef is cooked through
- while the beef is cooking, prepare all of the vegetables and cheese
- heat the tortillas in a pan on the stove or in the microwave very briefly to help them fold well without breaking, then fill with all ingredients and enjoy with optional hot sauce
